Big Brother first aired on Channel 4 in the UK on 14th July 2000 and has since become a national phenomenon. This year marks the end of an era as Big Brother closes it's doors for good after the climax of the current series. Here is a run-down of the 14 lucky new housemates:
Ben Duncan
Ben, 30, constantly lies about his age, telling people he is 27, he also claims he's not posh despite being the epitome of the word. He is a writer and broadcaster from London and enjoys the finer things in life. He claims that his biggest secret is that he "once had a relationship with a beautiful 18-year-old before being seduced by her mother."
Nathan Dunn
Nathan, 25, is a joiner from Yorkshire and claims to be Yorkshire's answer to Liam Gallagher. He is apparently the life and soul of a party despite still living with his grandparents. "Bigots, intelligent bullies and lies make him angry" and his biggest celebrity crush is Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) from rural soap Emmerdale. He is also the owner of a 'mono-brow' which he is very proud of.
